October President's Message

As the country is spinning out of control with what seems like a new crisis daily there are glimmers of light coming out that may portend trouble for the Democrats in 2022. It is easy to get down and even depressed listening to the news but look deeper and there is reason for hope.

To date there have been at least 13 democrats announce they are not running for re-election in 2022. The last time this occurred was in the runup to the 2010 election when Republicans won 63 seats in the House of Representatives. With a year until the 2022 election, there will be many more democrats announce they are retiring.

Parents across the country are rising against their local school boards demanding that they stop teaching CRT and the current forms of inappropriate sex ed classes at all levels from grammar school to high school students. Loudoun County VA was the first area we heard about and continue to hear about. This issue may be the turning point in the Virginia state gubernatorial race between Glenn Youngkin (R) and Terry McAuliffe (D).

There have also been some recent state legislative elections where seats have gone from Democrat to Republican.

These same things happened during the Obama years leading to big Republican victories in the off-year elections.

Some cities that unfunded their police departments last year are now funding them again.
There are the beginnings of pushback against the Covid Vax Card requirements by employers and employees.

And how about all the college students chanting anti-Biden slogans each weekend across the country. When was the last time we heard the liberal bastion students chanting anything anti against a Democrat president? Viet Nam era perhaps? And now the anti-Biden takeoff rap song is #1 on the charts.

In Arizona we have some exceptional candidates running for office. Our job will be to help get them elected in 2022. What can we do?

  • Walk precincts
  • Make phone calls
  • Donate money to the candidates of your choice
  • Work in campaign offices
  • Put up signs for candidates
  • Register new Republican voters prior to the 2022 election.

There is no shortage of ways to help elect our candidates, help them get their messages out to voters and then work to get voters to the polls on election day. If a candidate is willing to dedicate a year or more of their life to getting elected, we can dedicate a portion of our time to helping them achieve that goal.

Volunteer to work at the polls. Go through the training and whether you are a poll watcher or work at an individual poll, do your part to keep our elections honest.

Attend our monthly meetings and get to know these incredible candidates so that you are able to make choices based on your first-hand knowledge and not hearsay.

Together we are strong and can make a difference. Let's make 2022 the best year ever for Republicans!!!!
