One of our 2022 goals was to increase our Membership to 100 as of December 31, 2022. We were very close to this goal. As we embark upon a new calendar year 2023, it is with high hope we continue to grow our membership and active participation by fifty percent. Our November 15, 2022 General Meeting attendance confirmed our need for a venue location to accommodate our growing membership. The San Tan Valley Government Center off Bella Vista Road at 31505 N Schnepf Road proved to be a good location. We had an estimated attendance of 53 people including our Guest Speakers. Having said this, please CHECK-IN first before you retrieve your name badge. If your name badge cannot be located, please use the temporary peelable badge. When our Executive Board members attend our State Conference, we often share our General Meeting attendance. This rationalizes the importance to sign-in. Therefore, to streamline check-in, some of you requested to take home your name lanyard badges and wear them to our meetings. Please feel free to do so! Another option, you are welcome to order and pay for your magnet clip badge that the Executive Board members wear. Ask Arlene Stassinos in how to order this through the National Federation of Republican Women website or ask Kaye Feller.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to Gayle Peters for her committed effort to send out monthly General Meeting communications in addition to other pertinent information. This helps to reduce costs without the reliance of our currently hired webmaster from My Biz Now to send out Club communications through the on-line Mail Chimp system.

Due to increased communications of our upcoming America First Christmas Fundraiser December 6, our Member Highlight will be featured in our January Newsletter. Arlene Stassinos will be contacting you about a month in advance if you will be our honored Primary Member focused for the month. We have interesting newsworthy backgrounds of each Primary Member…your seeds of greatness are amazing!

As much as Arlene Stassinos enjoys providing refreshments for our monthly General Meeting, she asked to step down as Hospitality/Refreshment Chairperson to dedicate time and energy to maintaining Membership communications, file Membership Reports to the Arizona Federation of Republican Women, updating Membership Contact information, and write Committee Reports to the Trunkline Newsletter. The Executive Board has approved enabling a sign-up sheet to be available for 3 to 4 members to sign up to contribute to our refreshments.
