In Case You Missed the Christmas Gala
The Christmas Gala was a wonderful and successful event. The Ways & Means committee that spent months planning and preparing for this event deserves a tremendous thank you. The food was delicious, and the table decorations were lovely. Our member, Annice Jones, played her electric violin for an hour welcoming our guests into the main ballroom. If you ever have an opportunity to hear Annice play, do not miss it as she is very talented.
Our master of ceremonies for the evening was AZ state senator, Wendy Rogers. Senator Rogers also spoke midway through the program. Other speakers included our own Sheriff Lamb who has attended our Christmas event each year since our club's inception, Mark Finchem shared information on his race and the litigation following election day, and Cindy Biggs, wife of LD 5 Congressman, Andy Biggs. Also in attendance were Neal Carter and his wife, Katie, Jacqueline Parker and her mother, newly elected as an AZ state representative, Barbara Parker, and Nick Myers, Corporation Commission. We auctioned off a day at the Capital with State Senator Wendy Rogers. Those went to Kaye Feller and James Ross. There were four winning bids for Ride-A-Longs with Sheriff Mark Lamb. The lucky winners are James Ross, Pat Aritz, Stephen Feller, and Jerry Chaboda.
Glenda Bird ended the evening by sharing a delightful reading of Even Santa Claus hates Joe Biden.
