Care Center:
August was busy as families got back to school and we launched a new ALL digital CRS (Client Management System). We are excited to be able to more easily pull reports for grants, newsletters and our board with the new system.

As always, this time of year always sees an increased need for food and hygiene. Our specific needs are:
  • Body Wash
  • Deodorant
  • Gas cards
  • Cereal and Oatmeal
  • Canned Fruit

The Fun Van's new 11 week parenting series starts September 27th and will be offered in both Spanish and English at 2 different times.

We are always in need of volunteers in both the center and Redeemed Threads for 1 time group projects or on a regular basis. Redeemed Threads especially needs Wednesday volunteers to serve in the sorting room or as sales associates.

Adorned in Grace:
August had 14 girls attending our mentoring program which is the highest number of attendees since COVID. We are excited to see our girls coming back. Our mentors will be training in Tucson the weekend of October 7th with a group called Power of Predators. We will also be opening up a second night of the week for mentoring older girls, age 16-18 in October. Mentors are needed as well as facilitators interested in teaching sewing and design.

We are seeking one time female volunteers interested in helping with an event on February 18th. This event is an anti-trafficking event in conjunction with Pinal County Attorney's Office and Florence Unified School District called The Sky is the Limit. 3-4 volunteers would be serving as mentors, sitting along side girls age 6-8th grade as they journal/scrapbook. 5-7 volunteers would be serving them lunch.
