The current climate in our country is grave. I believe it is people — not government — that are granted power by God to make a difference in the world. My faith guides and comforts me as I see the world in chaos. No matter our reason for becoming Republicans we must encourage a commen sense point of view and stand by the Constitution our Founders worked so hard to write. We must defend our freedoms. Thomas Jefferson put it well:

For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security.
