I currently have the great honor of serving as the first President of the Queen Creek – San Tan Valley Republican Women Federated Club. I have been a Republican my entire life. I always understood what a privilege it is to live in the only country on earth that believes that our rights emanate from God and not a human being on earth. Our founders believed this statement was so important that it is written in our founding documents.
When I moved to AZ in 2018, I found there was not a Federated Club in northern Pinal County. This was important to me as I have been a member of the Federation since the early 1990s and believe strongly in the basic principles of the Federation, God, County, and Family and their strong support for the thousands of members in all 50 states. It did not take me long to apply to start a new club and the rest is history. We received our Club’s Charter on October 5, 2020, and have grown and thrived thanks to the wonderful group of ladies on our Executive Committee and the support from the AzFRW.
Our Club has worked very hard over the last three years to get candidates elected. Members have walked precincts, worked in campaign offices, and made phone calls for candidates. Many members also work at the polls on election day or are poll watchers. Some members also monitor our early voting drop boxes for the entire country. Each month in the year of an election, we invite all Republican candidates running for office at the state, federal, and local levels to speak to our club and meet our members. Over a third of our members are also Pinal County Precinct Committee Persons and active in the PCRC.
I am the mother of one daughter, grandmother to four grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 10, 8 girls and two boys. They are the reason why I have spent my adult life fighting to keep our country free with the rights that we all grew up with.
